Job summary

Keystone RV Co. in Goshen, IN, is seeking a Product Engineer to help with the development and design of our recreational vehicles. You will work with a product team to create new floor plans, produce drawings, and ensure designs meet applicable codes and our engineering standards.

You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to resolve design challenges, drive continuous improvements, and support cost reductions while delivering high-quality products.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in recreation or similar field.
• Engineering degree or commensurate on-the-job experience.
• Proficient with 2D AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new floor plans with a Product Manager and improve existing designs.
• Create and maintain drawings needed for construction of products.
• Ensure designs meet industry codes, standards, and our design parameters.
• Collaborate with product group to solve design and manufacturing challenges.
• Support continuous product improvement, cost reductions, quality, and manufacturability improvements.

Skills Needed:

• Prefer 3-5 years of experience in the recreation industry or similar field.
• Prefer an engineering degree or commensurate on the job experience.
• Must be familiar with 2D AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to be an effective member of a product TEAM.
