Job summary

NextWeb Talent is seeking a Rust Engineer to join a blockchain infrastructure team focused on core protocols and distributed systems. This remote EU-only role involves collaboration with a global team to design and implement robust software using Rust.

You will tackle security, privacy, and scalability challenges, contributing to client projects and open-source communities while helping establish strong testing and QA practices and maintaining a culture of ownership and innovation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in systems programming.
• Ability to design interoperable software architectures that seamlessly integrate.
• 5+ years of collaborative software development experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Rust.
• Based in the EU and able to work remotely.

The Role

We’re seeking a Rust Engineer to join the talented team.

You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the world on groundbreaking new products, core protocols, and client projects.

Responsibilities:

• Deep dive into complex protocols to gain a thorough understanding

• Design, build, and document robust distributed systems

• Develop cutting-edge protocols or protocol-driven applications using Rust

• Craft and implement comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes

• Collaborate effectively with clients and open-source communities

Requirements:
