Air Distribution Limited in Parsons, KS is seeking a full-time janitorial worker to help maintain a clean and orderly facility and support daily operations.

You will operate a forklift as needed, clean offices and break rooms, restock supplies, and perform other duties as required. A high school education is preferred and at least one year of janitorial experience is required, with Day Shift.

Maintains facility in a clean and orderly manner by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operates forklift as needed to move non-production items. Maintains break and rest room areas in clean and sanitary condition. Empties cardboard container and binds them with binding machine. Cleans shop hallways with automated floor sweeper and by hand when necessary. Cleans all office spaces. Restocks all hand towel, air deodorizer, toilet paper and hand soap dispensers. Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school education preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Attendance is an essential job requirement defined as having regular, consistent, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance including the ability to work regular hours and shifts, overtime before and after shifts and on weekends as required by union contract. Ability to work as part of a team, including all related departments/plants or independently as required to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction.
