Freeman Boatworks is seeking a dependable Facilities & Grounds Technician in Moncks Corner, SC to maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility. You will handle daily trash removal, exterior upkeep, and light building tasks while supporting the facilities team.

The role emphasizes reliability, the ability to work independently, and following directions, with weekly pay and standard benefits options. Prior forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous porter, janitorial, or facilities support experience preferred.
• Forklift experience a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove trash and recycling daily throughout the facility and transport materials to designated disposal areas
• Maintain exterior areas, including sidewalks, entrances, and parking lots, to ensure a clean and professional appearance
• Support general building cleanliness and organization
• Assist with light facility support tasks as needed
• Help ensure all workspaces remain clean, orderly, and safe
• Provide support to the facilities and maintenance team as directed

Physical Demands

• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
• Frequent bending and stooping
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
