Job summary

Dakota Bodies Liberty, MO is seeking an Entry Level Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, efficient facility. You will perform general cleaning of the factory, floor care, waste removal, restroom sanitation, and inventory management of supplies.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, exterior upkeep, and occasional minor repairs; forklift operation may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for many hours.
• Ability to perform repetitive motion for long periods.
• Experience with using cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and cleaning solutions.
• Background in handling, mixing, and using cleaning chemicals.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards safety rules.
• Communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders and work at heights.
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision.
• Capacity to take direction.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary

Responsibilities

• Keeps building and property in clean and orderly condition.
• Performs routine maintenance activities.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors.
• Gathers and empties trash.
• Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities.
• Dusts furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Cleans windows, mirrors, and partitions with soap and other cleansers.
• Manages inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Notifies managers regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space, and parking lot
• Performs minor repairs and maintenance on assigned equipment. Assists in the repair and maintenance of the cooperative's grounds and buildings.
• Operates forklift
• Remove and dispose of litter and wastepaper daily. Inside and Outside the facility.
• Remove snow, entryways, and walks, etc.
• Maintain clean/ clear exit’s and pathways throughout shop.
• Will assist in Maintenance duties as needed.
• Job may require some exposure to adverse weather conditions, heavy lifting, awkward working positions, and hazards. Must possess physical abilities to accomplish duties.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
