Job summary

Air Distribution Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Janitor in Parsons, KS. The role runs Monday to Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, focusing on keeping the facility clean and orderly, including offices, break areas, restrooms and shop spaces.

Forklift operation is required for moving non-production items as needed. Responsibilities include restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness throughout the site.

Qualifications

High school education preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Attendance is an essential job requirement with regular, punctual and reliable performance.

Responsibilities

Operate forklift to move non-production items as needed.
Maintain clean and sanitary break rooms, rest rooms, shop hallways, and office spaces.
Restock hand towels, air deodorizers, toilet paper and hand soap.
Clean with floor sweeper and perform manual cleaning as required.

Cleans shop hallways with automated floor sweeper and by hand when necessary. Cleans all office spaces. Restocks all hand towel, air deodorizer, toilet paper and hand soap dispensers. Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

High school education preferred.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Other Skills And Abilities

Attendance is an essential job requirement defined as having regular, consistent, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance including the ability to work regular hours and shifts, overtime before and after shifts and on weekends as required by union contract. Ability to work as part of a team, including all related departments/plants or independently as required to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction.
