Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years in homeless services or related field; leadership experience.
• 2-year experience with homeless individuals with mental illness or substance use issues.
• Valid California driver license and ability to pass MVR/background.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program work plans and lead workgroups.
• Provide direct supervision to case managers and conduct evaluations.
• Intervene in urgent cases to link clients to housing and entitlements.
• Ensure program standards and reporting requirements are met.
• Review participant files and track team statistics (HMIS).
• Collaborate with property managers and community partners to streamline housing navigation.
• Identify staff training needs and develop workshops.
• Develop and implement program objectives, policies, and standards; ensure compliance.
• Maintain documentation and prepare case reports.
• Meet weekly with clients to review care plan goals.
• Engage unsheltered and sheltered individuals to provide case management and referrals.
