Sweetwater Care is seeking a Travel Nurse to join Critical Access Hospitals across rural South Dakota. You will provide direct patient care, assess conditions, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality treatment in remote settings.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the relevant state.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience; rural healthcare experience is a plus.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to travel and contract work.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per established protocols and standards.
• Assess patients and implement evidence-based nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient safety.
• Monitor vital signs and adjust care as needed.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and prevention.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
