Job summary

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 150-bed SNF in a rural location near Mount Olive, NC. You will work with licensed OT staff to deliver high-quality care to patients Monday–Friday, 35 hours per week, with no weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Valid state license or certification as an OTA.
• Experience in a SNF or similar setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Compassionate, patient-centered care approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation and treatment under licensed OT direction.
• Implement treatment plans and document patient progress.
• Provide hands-on therapy, exercises and activities.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to improve daily living.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate plans.
• Adhere to regulations and ethical standards in OT services.
