Job summary

Saber Health Group is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our therapy team at Valley Hill Health and Rehab in Hendersonville, NC. The OTA will help restore residents’ independence and function within a skilled nursing facility, under supervision of the OT and DOR.

A strong focus on education and safety supports discharge planning and ongoing home exercise. Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree, current state licensure, and OTA credentials.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college.
• Current and valid license granted by the state of employment.
• OTA license granted from the state of employment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate software programs and EHR.

Responsibilities

• Return patient to optimal physical function and achieve goals in a SNF setting.
• Educate patients on maintenance and independent exercise, with activity modification under supervision.
