Job summary

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 150-bed SNF in a rural location near Mount Olive, NC. You will work with licensed OT staff to deliver high-quality care to patients Monday–Friday, 35 hours per week, with no weekend rotation.

Qualifications

Position: Occupational Therapy Assistant

Salary Range: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday (no weekend rotation)

Location: 150 bed SNF in a rural location

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at our 150 bed SNF in a rural location. As a P-Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our Occupational Therapists to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Implement treatment plans and document patient progress
• Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including therapeutic exercises and activities
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to improve daily living skills
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient recordsCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding of treatment plans and goals
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations and ethical standards in the delivery of occupational therapy services

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
