Banner Health in Brush, Colorado is seeking a part-time Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing operations across Med-Surg, WIS and ED on a 24-hour week (2x12h shifts). You will attend huddles, assist staff, manage staffing needs, and address/escalate concerns, ensuring breaks and critical equipment checks are completed.

This rural house supervisor role offers leadership exposure, disaster response duties, and patient placement responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing and RN license in state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1-2 years of clinical experience relevant to patient population.
• Knowledge of nursing and healthcare as normally obtained through a bachelor-level program.
• Ability to balance clinical skills with supervisory authority and respond to codes.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational supervision of campus workflow and resource management during assigned shift.
• Respond to codes and crisis situations; implement plans and communicate chain of command.
• Oversee staffing, attendee huddles, and ensure meal breaks and equipment checks.
• Serve as a professional resource to patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Coordinate patient placement and support disaster notification processes.
