Job summary

Banner Health is hiring a full-time Night Shift Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg department in Brush, Colorado. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, with opportunities for cross-training in Med/Surg and Women’s & Infant Services.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; additional certs/education encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational and discharge planning domains.
• Formulate and update a comprehensive plan of care, including discharge planning.
• Implement care, coordinate and supervise nursing activities within the care team.
• Evaluate patient progress and adapt care and teaching as needed.
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses accurately in the chart.
• Contribute to quality improvement, share leadership and mentor staff as appropriate.
