Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital in Taos, NM, is seeking a flexible Physical Therapist (PT) or PTA for part-time or full-time work with InReach Rehab. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a rural healthcare setting and offers mentorship within a connected network of hospitals.

You will evaluate and treat a variety of conditions, implement personalized plans, document progress, educate patients and families, and collaborate with rehab and medical staff to ensure coordinated

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current or anticipated New Mexico PT license (or eligibility).
• Strong clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and provide high-quality PT services to patients with a variety of conditions.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and progress.
• Perform therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and use of modalities.
• Document patient progress, outcomes, and treatment plans accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and strategies to support recovery and wellness.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Collaborate with the therapy team and other healthcare staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust plans to optimize outcomes.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive team culture.
