Columbia State Community College is seeking a Success Coach for the Charger Pathway Impact program. The role focuses on career and postsecondary success of rural students, coordinating with high schools and college staff to guide enrollment, persistence, and completion of chosen career pathways.

The position is grant-funded through 2027 with potential extension, requiring collaboration with community partners and school districts. In-person role based at the Columbia TN campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Masters in School Counseling, College Counseling, Counseling, Student Affairs, or Higher Education preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist students in articulating goals and develop plans to achieve them.
• Organize and direct small group and individual counseling sessions.
• Identify and remove barriers to postsecondary education (costs, transportation, food insecurity, internet, childcare).
• Advise high school students about early post-secondary opportunities.
• Counsel students on financial aid and academic requirements for career pathways.
