Job summary

Banner Wyoming Medical Center seeks an Occupational Therapist to join the inpatient rehab team in Casper. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to restore function for adults across medical, surgical, neuro, telemetry, ICU units.

New grads welcome. Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with one Saturday per month rotation; minimum 7–8 hours per pay period.

Qualifications

Must have completed the academic requirements of an OT program approved by the governing board.
Must possess a current Occupational Therapy license from the state of practice.
BLS certification required.
Must be able to become proficient with computer software used in patient care.

Responsibilities

Evaluates patients' functional abilities and determines if intervention is needed; establishes plan of care and goals.
Implements individualized treatment plans and monitors progress.
Documents according to department and regulatory standards; ensures timely documentation.
Communicates results to physicians, nurses, patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
Adapts to caseload, scheduling, and staffing changes; supports other patient care areas.
Demonstrates direction and delegation of personnel; participates in training of new staff.
Participates in department/facility process improvements and maintains productivity.
Interacts with staff, physicians, patients, families and external contacts to coordinate care.
