SWHRA's Rural Transportation Program serves eight counties in Tennessee, providing curb-to-curb service. The Transportation Driver role focuses on safely transporting individuals to and from designated locations, while maintaining passenger safety and a courteous demeanor.

Under the Transportation Director, you will perform vehicle maintenance, assist passengers (including wheelchair users), complete required reports, and uphold DOT and safety standards.

Qualificações

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must possess a valid Class D Driver's License with an F endorsement.
• Must pass a DOT physical.
• Must pass MVR check, criminal background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Must be clear of National Offender Registries including Sex Offender Registry.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure prompt, reliable, and safe pick-up and delivery of passengers.
• Assist ambulatory individuals and wheelchair users with safety protocols.
• Adhere to traffic laws and no-texting policy while driving.
• Complete vehicle logs, incident reports, and other documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and report any issues.
• Provide friendly, professional service and support dispatchers.
