Job summary

Amazon’s Last Mile Rural Super Rural team seeks an Operations Manager to run a delivery station in Davisville, WV, overseeing cost, budgeting, productivity, quality, and on-time delivery using Lean methods.

You will lead exempt leaders and frontline associates, foster accountability and continuous improvement, and partner with Safety, HR, Engineering, and Loss Prevention.

This role operates 24 hours and may require nights and weekends; the team delivers to rural areas across West Virginia.

Qualifications

• 3 years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2 years of Amazon experience.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Own building-level performance across cost, payroll, productivity, budgeting, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Lead and develop exempt leadership and frontline associates.
• Drive safety as the top priority with gemba walks and daily planning.
• Collaborate with Safety, HR, Engineering, and Loss Prevention to meet objectives.
• Identify systemic issues and implement scalable process improvements.
