Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager for a Rural Super Rural delivery station in Maryland. You will lead a team of hourly staff, coach to hit safety, quality, attendance, and performance targets, and coordinate with Delivery Service Partners to ensure on-time dispatch and customer satisfaction.

The role requires open flexibility for 10-hour overnight shifts on a rotating front-half or back-half schedule, training at a distant site, and lifting up to 49 pounds in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and Human Resources to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts up to 12 hours, and handle stairs.
• Work in varied noise and temperature environments; weekends/overnight shifts.
