Qualifications

• Must reside in or near the township of McDermitt.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a Nevada Administrative Certificate.
• Prefer three years of school administrator experience with distinguished accomplishment.
• Experience with ethnically diverse student populations including ESL, Title I, Special Education, and minority students; Native American experience preferred.
• Experience writing and managing state and federal grant funding.
• Experience and distinguished accomplishment in school management, instructional leadership and school improvement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal and sole administrator in the building.
• Act as athletic director, grant administrator, and Service Learning Director.
• Liaise with the community of McDermitt and partner with district.
• Be an active partner in the community.
