Job summary

MAHEC in Asheville, NC seeks a Project Manager to lead grant-funded and special projects within the Rural Health Transformation Program. You will manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables, coordinating with the PD/PI, evaluation staff and regional partners.

You will schedule activities, track progress, prepare reports and ensure effective communication across teams. Hybrid work and onsite responsibilities support rural rotations and student learner activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of project coordination/management experience.
• Experience with continuing professional development processes and systems.
• Preferred: adult education and quality improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and monitor projects through their life cycle.
• Maintain detailed project budgets including personnel, invoicing and requisitions.
• Create detailed work plans and identify sequences of activities.
• Develop project timelines and assign tasks with deadlines.
• Establish clear project objectives and evaluation measures.
• Maintain project records and facilitate stakeholder reporting.
• Coordinate meetings, events and rotations; support partner communications.
