Job summary

Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) in Asheville, NC seeks a Project Manager to lead grant-funded projects, write proposals, track budgets, and ensure deliverables under the direction of the Program Director and PI. The role coordinates meetings, events, and programs for the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of related project coordination/management experience.
• Experience with continuing professional development systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of budgeting and grant tracking is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements and monitors project progress through its life cycle.
• Maintains detailed budgeting including personnel, invoicing and requisitions.
• Creates detailed work plans and timelines for project completion.
• Develops timelines and assigns tasks with clear deadlines.
• Maintains records of activities and lessons learned.
• Supports communication across teams and with stakeholders.
