Job summary

South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a Program Manager I to direct the Rural Health Transformation program. You will oversee implementation, coordinate with agencies and stakeholders, and ensure CMS reporting compliance.

This role requires flexible leadership in a dynamic environment. Based in Richland County, this in-office position reports to the Deputy Director of Health Programs and leads cross-functional teams to advance healthcare access and outcomes in rural

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of federal/state program or grant management experience.
• Master's degree with three years of related program experience.
• Three years of direct supervisory or team lead experience.
• Experience coordinating with multiple agencies and CMS reporting.
• Ability to travel occasionally and drive routinely.

Responsibilities

• Direct overall operations of the Rural Health Transformation program.
• Develop program roadmap with objectives, milestones, and KPIs.
• Coordinate with agencies and stakeholders; ensure CMS reporting compliance.
• Oversee data collection, analysis, dashboards, and reporting for performance.
• Manage grants, budgets, and subrecipient contracts; monitor outcomes.
