The CDC Foundation is seeking a Rural Health Transformation Content Coordinator to support the Kentucky Rural Health Transformation Program. This remote role focuses on producing clear messaging, coordinating the communications strategy, and guiding field staff with materials and messaging direction.

Reporting to the Communications Lead, you will manage the Engagement and Outreach Coordinator team, ensure branding consistency, and help deliver communications across five interdependent

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, public policy, public administration, marketing or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in communications, public affairs, or strategic communications.
• Ability to translate complex programmatic, technical or policy information into clear messaging.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive, legislative and public audiences.
• Ability to work across organizations and functions to coordinate messaging and support alignment.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the execution of strategic communication plans and manage materials with consultants as needed.
• Establish clear narratives articulating program objectives, progress and outcomes for diverse audiences.
• Track execution against plans and surface gaps and risks proactively.
• Co-develop systems to enable fast, consistent messaging across a multi-vertical portfolio.
• Draft, edit, and format communications materials including program updates and web copy.
• Support maintenance of web content for ruralhealthplan.ky.gov and page updates.
• Prepare presentation materials and briefing documents for leadership using approved templates.
• Serve as first point of contact for incoming communications requests.
• Guide initiative staff on messaging consistency and submission requirements.
• Track initiative-level communications needs and flag gaps or timing conflicts.
