Job summary

The Commonwealth of VA Careers in Virginia Works’ Rural Health Transformation (RHT) program at the Central Office in Henrico seeks a Grants Administrator/Financial Specialist to oversee the financial and administrative components of grant activities.

This role ensures accurate fiscal reporting, compliance with state and federal regulations, and effective distribution of grant funds; it also develops grant agreements, manages reimbursements and closeouts, and provides partner training and support.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial management and grants administration.
• Ability to review and monitor grant budgets and expenditures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel.
• Interpret laws and regulations; prepare financial reports.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial and administrative components of grant activities.
