Job summary

University of Arizona is seeking a Program Coordinator to support Rural Health Education initiatives across RHPP, LIC, and AHEC programs. The role involves coordinating day-to-day operations, calendars, housing, travel, and documentation to ensure smooth program delivery.

You will work with faculty, clinicians, and community partners, manage data for HRSA grants, and assist with program evaluation and reporting. Note: visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required.
• One year of relevant work experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations for assigned rural medical education programs.
• Coordinate calendars, meetings, communications, timelines, and operational logistics.
• Maintain program records, databases, affiliation agreements, and required documentation.
• Coordinate student housing, travel, transportation, reimbursements, and related logistical support.
• Prepare routine correspondence, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Exercise discretion in organizing work, prioritizing assignments, and resolving routine operational issues.
• Coordinate onboarding and support of community physician preceptors.
• Support implementation of new and existing rural clinical education sites.
