Job summary

RHRC is seeking a Rural Healthcare Consultant (Regional Liaison) for the West Region. This remote role manages relationships with rural providers, community organizations, and state/federal partners, with travel to client sites and events.

Based in one of the eligible Western states, you will work with the Regional Liaison Team to identify needs and deploy resources, aligning with RHRC's mission to improve rural health access.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a health care leader at the Director level or above.
• Strong healthcare knowledge with rural health focus.
• Advanced knowledge of hospital operations, financial statements, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with CMS Conditions of Participation for hospital licensure.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with rural-relevant stakeholders in the region.
• Travel to client locations and events to understand community needs.
• Identify and dispatch technical assistance resources based on insights.
• Establish relationships with leadership and educate stakeholders on RHRC services.
• Collaborate with program teams to oversee regional technical assistance activities.
