Pharmacy First Health in Gold Hill, Oregon, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in dispensing medications, processing orders, and delivering compassionate patient care in a rural clinic setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and preferred certification. You will manage inventory, handle POS and insurance claims, maintain HIPAA compliance, and work with a collaborative team to improve access to care.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working directly with patients.
• Basic computer proficiency; experience with pharmacy software is a plus but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a team-oriented workspace.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the pharmacist in accurately filling and dispensing prescription medications.
• Receive and process prescription orders from patients, physicians, and healthcare providers.
• Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, including receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and flagging low-supply items.
• Handle point-of-sale transactions, process insurance claims, and assist patients with billing questions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients to answer general inquiries and direct complex questions to the pharmacist.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements at all times.
