Pharmacy1st Health is building ruralAmerica healthcare hubs and seeks a Pharmacy Technician to join the Delphos, OH team. You will assist pharmacists, handle prescriptions, manage inventory, and support billing and insurance processes in a patient-centered setting.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality (HIPAA), and strong communication with patients. Local licensure or registration with state requirements is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients.
• Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with pharmacy software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in accurately filling and dispensing medications.
• Process prescription orders from patients, physicians, and healthcare providers.
• Maintain inventory, receive deliveries, stock shelves, and flag low-supply items.
• Handle point-of-sale transactions, process insurance claims, and answer billing questions.
• Keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and compliant with regulations.
• Communicate clearly with patients and direct complex questions to the pharmacist.
• Uphold HIPAA confidentiality at all times.
