Job summary

The Emeril Group is seeking a Food Runner for Meril Restaurant in New Orleans, LA. You will expedite and deliver food and accompaniments from the kitchen to various dining areas, ensuring swift service while maintaining high grooming and hospitality standards.

The ideal candidate has experience in a fast-paced, refined dining environment and is able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Culinary training is preferred but not required, with opportunities for growth and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, carry, balance and deliver trays weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must have good grooming with a passion for excellent customer service.
• Experience in a fast-paced, refined, fine dining atmosphere preferred.

Food runners at our restaurant are responsible for expediting and delivering all food and appropriate accompaniments from the kitchen to the drop off areas throughout the restaurant. Must be able to lift, carry, balance and deliver trays weighing up to 50 pounds while maneuvering swiftly through crowded areas. Candidates must have good grooming with a passion for excellent customer service.
