Job summary

Meril Restaurant in New Orleans is seeking enthusiastic, service-minded bartenders to join our refined, fast-paced dining team. You will handle bar setup, maintenance and operation, take orders, and craft and serve cocktails, wines and non-alcoholic beverages with courteous hospitality.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of bartending experience and a strong knowledge of food, wine and spirits; culinary school training is preferred but not required for back-of-house roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years bartending experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of food, wine and spirits with cocktail crafting.
• Able to work in fast-paced, refined, fine dining setting.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

We are now looking for enthusiastic, service-oriented people to work as bartenders. Our bartenders are responsible for the set-up, maintenance and operation of the bar. They take orders, prepare and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and meals to guests courteously and prepare bar drink orders for service staff. All Emeril's employees must always promote positive guest relations and have an enthusiastic sense of hospitality with a professional, friendly demeanor.Minimum 2 years bartending experience preferred.Preferred candidates will have a solid knowledge of food, wine and spirits with a background in creating and crafting cocktails.Must have good grooming, get along well with others, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
