This position is at SIGNATURE STEAK. Signature Steak is an approachable steak house with a neighborhood vibe. Owner Israel Idonije has teamed with the Fabio Viviani Hospitality Group to give guests fabulous food in the South Loop.

We are looking to hire a Runner/Busser

Duties

• Provide quality, genuine hospitality in a timely manner.
• Ensure that guests feel important and welcome in the restaurant.
• Deliver food to the appropriate table, announcing each dish. Other duties include:
• Pre-bus and clean tables.
• Assist servers and bartenders with service as needed.
• Stock server stations and the bar as needed.
• Transition between runner and busser duties based on service needs and guest needs.
• Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Passion for food and ensuring an excellent dining experience for all guests.
• Energetic and genuine positive attitude when interacting with team members and guests.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to follow directions.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 30+ pounds.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods.
