Job summary

Cinépolis USA is seeking a team member for theater concessions, kitchen and bar service in a fast-paced luxury cinema environment. You will deliver items to guests, coordinate with the expeditor, and assist guests with menu selections, upselling promotions and add-ons.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, assisting with ticket scanning and box office, and supporting teammates during busy periods.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of food running or bussing preferred.
  • ServSafe, Food Handling, and Alcohol training certifications required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver concessions items, kitchen items, and bar items to guests following all In Seat Dining procedures.
  • Coordinate with expediter to ensure orders are served hot and complete.
  • Guide guests through the menu and upsell promotions or add-ons.
  • Clean auditoriums, collect dishes, and assist with restroom checks.
  • Scan tickets and ring up guests at concessions or box office as needed.

As part of Cinépolis International, the most popular movie theater exhibitor globally, we are dedicated to innovation, film, and hospitality worldwide.AS A CINÉPOLIS TEAM MEMBER, YOU ARE WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT TO US!Our team members enjoy a generous employee discount on tickets, food, and nonalcoholic beverages, and they also receive gifts for reaching milestone work anniversaries!JOB DESCRIPTIONDEPARMENT: OperationsLOCATION: TheaterREPORTS TO: General ManagerJOB DUTIESDeliver concessions items, kitchen items, and bar items to guests including utensils, sauces, and napkins while embodying Nice and Amazing Service by following all In Seat Dining procedures.Work closely with expediter to ensure all food is delivered simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.Demonstrate Commitment, and Integrity at all times – double check that orders are correct and complete and communicate with kitchen/expediter/supervisors if they are not.Guide guests through the menu and suggest promotions, add-ons, or upselling, demonstrating knowledge of menu and Cinepolis offerings if guests would like to order more items.Clean auditoriums removing all dishes, trash, and providing managers with any found items.Be of service to your team members and assist them when needed including scanning tickets for guests, cleaning and restroom checks, and ringing up guests at concessions or box office.Navigate guest complaints and assist with requests or direct them to proper resource if unable to assist.Be cognizant of issues with movie projections-communicating with management when issues arise.Complete all opening, mid and closing procedures- including but not limited to other duties.Acknowledging guest by Cinépolis standards.Attend and participate in trainings and meetings.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSMust be 18 years or older.
