Job summary

WOOD Federal Solutions, Fort Meade, MD, seeks a Rules Analyst Level 3 to transform complex legal and policy requirements into automated compliance solutions for Intelligence Community customers.

The role requires a J.D. and extensive experience in IC Privacy compliance, with salary from $155,000 to $182,500 per year. Requires U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI with polygraph, full-time, day shift.

Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) years experience in programs involving the customers' authorities.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited college or university is required; four (4) years of additional experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• A Masters degree or J.D. may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, reducing the requirement to thirteen (13) years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legal and policy documents to extract key information per guides and procedures.
• Identify compliance obligations in documents per established procedures.
• Engage with customers to understand problems and determine solutions based on documentation and guidance.
• Prepare reports, responses, and briefings for diverse audiences.
• Analyze obligations to design and maintain controls and machine-readable rules enabling compliance automation.
• Provide SME to development of mission compliance policy and guidance.
• Create and maintain user guide documentation for analyzing documents.

WOOD Federal Solutions is seeking a Rules Analyst Level 3 to help Intelligence Community customers navigate evolving compliance requirements through innovative analysis, governance support, and compliance automation.

Security Clearance Requirements:

This position requires all candidates to beU.S. Citizensandpossess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.

Responsibilities

Required Skills:

• A J.D. and at least five (5) years experience in the legal or technical aspects of Intelligence Community Privacy Compliance required.

Capabilities

• Use multiple word processing and presentation tools (e.g., MS Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Pro).
• Use task tracking and documentation software (e.g., Confluence and JIRA).
• Engage with customers to understand problems and determine solutions based on existing documentation and guidance.
• Prepare reports, responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences.
• Analyze compliance obligations to identify, design, and maintain controls, system requirements, and/or machine-readable rules that enable compliance automation.
• Provide subject matter expertise to the development of mission compliance-related policy and guidance.
• Create and maintain user guide documentation for analyzing legal and policy documents.
• Familiarity with Customer authorities demonstrated with practical experience.
• Innovate ways to categorize, organize, and manage compliance obligations and related controls, system requirements, and/or machine-readable rules that enable compliance automation.
