Job summary

WOOD Federal Solutions is seeking a Requirements Analyst Level 2 at Fort Meade, Maryland. You will translate customer needs into clear, actionable IT requirements and collaborate with IT experts to ensure the right technology is built.

In this role you’ll support project planning and cost estimation, maintain high-quality documentation, and serve as a liaison between customers and implementation teams while upholding security and program goals.

Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma required.
  • Two years of experience in requirement gathering for federal government or IC.
  • Basic knowledge of requirements management and information technology.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit IT requirements to determine customer needs.
  • Interface with IT professionals to manage information for software and hardware.
  • Serve as liaison between customers and implementation teams.

Salary Range: **$90,000 TO $106,000 per year

** Starting salary is based on minimum education and years of experience and increases based on education and/or experience.

The Requirements Analyst plays a key role in shaping impactful IT solutions across the Extended Enterprise-turning customer needs into clear, actionable requirements and enabling teams to build the right technology. In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate with IT experts, bridge communication between customers and implementation teams, support project planning and cost estimation, and ensure requirements are accurately documented from start to finish. You'll use your exceptional communication skills to clarify complex technical details, resolve challenges, and maintain highquality documentation-all while helping drive missionfocused IT programs forward.

Security Clearance Requirements:

This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.

Responsibilities
  • Elicits and analyzes IT requirements to determine customer needs.
  • Interfaces with IT professionals to produce, store, communicate, and disseminate information as it relates to software applications and. computer hardware.
  • Serves as a liaison between customers and implementation organizations.
  • Directly contributes to IT program/project efforts (e.g., validating, tracking, eliciting, and documenting requirements).
  • Reports on technical progress, identifies resolution for problem areas, and writes and reviews technical documentation.
Qualifications

Required Education & Years of Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma
  • Two (2) years experience in requirement gathering or of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government or within the Intelligence Community.
  • Requirements Analyst shall have basic knowledge of the requirements management, requirements elicitation, and information technology.

Capabilities

  • Elicit requirements from customers.
  • Record requirements that may be documented in various forms (i.e., Remedy, SM 7, and Templates).
  • Create and deliver statistical data.
  • Write and collect requirement procedures.
  • Review requirements and determine if requirements are clear, complete, consistent and advise with resolving any conflicts.
  • Prepare requirement status reviews and other formal reviews.
  • Review and provide recommendations for appropriate provisioning of requirements.
  • Verify compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements, to avoid misroutes of requirements.
  • Communicate issues and identify solutions.Verify that requirements strategies are addressed.
