Job summary

Juniper Systems in Logan, Utah seeks an Associate Technical Product Manager to support rugged computers and accessories across markets. You will work with leadership and cross-functional teams to align customer needs, business goals, and quality standards, and help drive product launches and sustaining activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, CS or related technical field, or 4+ years of technical/product management experience.
• Proficient MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with MRP and CRM systems.
• Experience in rugged mobile computing or field data collection.
• Understanding of computer hardware architecture and functionality.
• Experience with product management methodologies.
• Experience with tablet PCs or hardware products.
• Knowledge of Windows, Android, or embedded systems.
• Strong communication skills; creative problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Manage product life cycle and roadmap, including accessories and branding.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback and usage data.
• Conduct competitive analysis on tablet hardware and ecosystems.
• Participate in customer interviews, field visits, usability testing.
• Help identify unmet needs and market opportunities.
• Define scope, trade-offs, and prioritize features.
• Develop MRD with internal/external resources.
• Collaborate with marketing on messaging and go-to-market plan.
• Assist in creating PTS and participate in design reviews.
• Prepare Product Validation Test (PVT) to validate customer needs.
