Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical experience in computer tech/electronics.
• 2–4 years of hands-on systems testing or hardware diagnostics.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux environments, BIOS/UEFI, and scripting basics.
• Experience interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and component documentation.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute automated and manual test procedures on hardware and software systems.
• Set up and verify test environments including BIOS, drivers, networks, and peripherals.
• Perform hardware diagnostics at board and component level using schematics and test fixtures.
• Analyze data, report results and anomalies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Document and track defects using JIRA.
• Verify compliance with internal specs and ruggedization/military guidelines.
• Conduct root cause analysis and coordinate with hardware/software/manufacturing teams for retests.
