Job summary

Abaco Systems in Huntsville is seeking an Electronic Debug Technician to join our team. You will troubleshoot electronic assemblies and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure top-quality products for defense and industry.

The role requires 3+ years debugging circuit cards, strong schematics/ Datasheets skills, and familiarity with test tools such as DMMs and oscilloscopes. DoD exposure may apply; EHS guidelines must be followed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 or 4-year electronics degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience debugging electronic circuit card assemblies.
• RF experience desired.
• Ability to interpret schematics, datasheets, and product manuals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct component-level debugging.
• Use digital multimeters, oscilloscopes and other test assets.
• Utilize in-system device programming tools (Altera, Lattice, Xilinx).
• Read schematics, source code and CAD files.
• Manage daily tasks and aged WIP.
• Adhere to all EHS guidelines.
• Provide defect and root-cause feedback to manufacturing engineering.
