Job summary

6 Degrees Search seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer in Cincinnati, Ohio to design ruggedized electronics for ordnance and fuzing systems. This direct hire opportunity requires onsite work, US citizenship, and offers relocation assistance.

The role involves circuit design, simulations, test planning, and mentoring junior engineers. A bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience (or 7+ years with a graduate degree) is required, with travel up to 10% to support program objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with strong circuit design background.
Graduate degree and 7+ years of related experience preferred; in lieu of degree, 13+ years experience may apply.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine electrical requirements for ruggedized electronics.
Interface with customers and cross-functional teams to translate needs into designs.
Design analog and digital circuits, select components, and ensure EMI/ESD/DFM compliance.
Perform simulations and circuit tolerance analyses to validate designs.
Prepare test plans and generate test reports from assessments.
Lead and mentor team members to meet program objectives and manage multiple projects.
Travel 5-10% as required for customer and project reviews.
Support design reviews and generate engineering change orders.
