Ozark Integrated Circuits, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Design Lead to head a team responsible for high-temperature, rugged electronics used in aerospace, defense, and energy sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Expertise in Digital, Analog, or Mixed-Signal IC Design.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IC design.
• Experience with CAD design flows.
• Proven track record of successful project completion and team leadership.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Must be eligible to work on federal government contracts, including ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance or pass a government background investigation.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Oversee and contribute to the design and development of extreme environment electronic solutions, ensuring compatibility with product specifications and regulatory requirements and working with foundries to facilitate fabrication of IC designs.
• Evaluate and improve existing design processes, focusing on efficiency, quality, and sustainability; collaborate with Information Systems lead on board-to-chip design stack.
• Work closely with technical fellows, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to integrate electrical designs into product development cycles.
• Develop and implement testing protocols to ensure design reliability under various environmental conditions.
• Lead cross-functional projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation; contribute to written program reports and funding proposals.
• Ensure all designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align electrical design strategy with long-term business goals and budgets.
