Job summary

Greene, Tweed seeks an operator to set up and run compression molding machines to produce rubber and fabric parts per design specs and quality requirements. You will handle mold selection, inspection, and cleaning, and ensure paperwork accuracy and on-time production.

The role involves training peers, following safety protocols, and collaborating with production to meet schedules and quality standards. Eligible candidates must be U.S. Persons per ITAR.

Qualifications

• This position requires a high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Experience with basic measurement devices and hand tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Mold quality rubber and fabric parts using inserts and heated presses.
• Select molds, inspect surfaces, sandblast and clean as required.
• Operate and troubleshoot press equipment and related tooling.
• Interpret job paperwork to determine schedule, procedures and quality needs.
• Complete job paperwork with accurate data and ensure traceability.
• Train and mentor other department personnel.
• Follow safety rules and wear required PPE.
