Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Rubber Products Specialist to apply strong customer service and conveyor belt technical skills to train, implement, and execute rubber products marketing programs. You will collaborate with Account Managers and customers to determine needs and drive satisfaction, retention, and sales results.

Qualifications

3+ years of proven lightweight conveyor belt sales or belt service experience.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Strong English grammar, written and verbal communication.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check, drug test & DOT physical.
HS Diploma or equivalent.
Willingness to travel 1–3 nights per month.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Training or presentation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate conveyor belt/rubber product initiatives with Service Centers and Regional Managers.
Make rubber product/conveyor belt presentations to internal associates and customers.
Conduct training for internal associates and customers.
Make joint sales calls with the field sales staff.
Assist in the development of rubber product/conveyor belt data collection; exchange information, case histories, documented value-added benefits, and application data.
Partner in setting and meeting/exceeding sales targets and execution.
Participate in installations and repairs.
