Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Scan raw material usages by weight and lot number.
• Stage and sequence ingredients for use in mixing equipment.
• Operate two-roll mill to post-mix rubber stock as discharged from mixer.
• Gather and blend pre-qualification samples of rubber stock for quality tests.
• Deliver preforms to the correct cell for molding.
• Weigh and label rubber stock before transferring to conditioning room.
• Retrieve rubber stock from conditioning room and deliver to extrusion process.
• Retrieve preforms from extrusion process, label product, report production, and stage for core molding.
• Collect samples and process cores for submission to quality lab as part of blend pre-qualification.
• Assist milling and extrusion operators in miscellaneous tasks.
• Work towards process efficiency improvements.
• Follow PPE and safety procedures; perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
