Job summary

Pregis is hiring a full-time production operator to monitor assigned machines and ensure products meet safety, quality, and throughput standards. You will start up and shut down equipment, set up for various products, and maintain an orderly, safe work area.

Responsibilities include machine operation, quality inspection, data entry, and collaboration with team members to minimize downtime and waste while meeting customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing preferred.
• Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/32 inch.
• Must communicate in English (read/write).

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down the machine properly to ensure high-quality finished product.
• Set up and operate equipment for various products.
• Safely and efficiently produce product in assigned area.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment during shift.
• Report any quality defects promptly to the team.
• Manage production supplies to minimize downtime.
• Monitor machine operation for accurate measurements and quality.
• Meet or exceed production rates and minimize waste.
• Enter production data accurately into the machine system.
