Job summary

Pregis LLC in the United States is seeking an Assistant Operator to support the Production team in manufacturing high-quality packaging products. This hourly, non-exempt position reports to the Production Supervisor and requires attention to safety, accuracy, and efficiency on a fast-paced line.

You will assist with quality checks, cycle counts, housekeeping, and material handling, while following all PPE rules and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior manufacturing/warehouse experience preferred.
• Stable work history required.

Responsibilities

• Assist operator to ensure quality checks and production orders meet specifications.
• Assist lead with cycle counts for supplies.
• Grind scrap material for reuse or disposal.
• Maintain safe handling of solvents, glue, and oils; replace glue totes as needed.
• Keep area clean and organized; proper waste and oil containment.
• Follow PPE and safety rules; report incidents immediately.
• Participate in safety training and apprenticeships.
• Be flexible to work on different lines per demand.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
