Job summary
Iron Senergy is hiring a Technician to safely operate and maintain the Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) system at our Waynesburg site. The role involves routine inspections, troubleshooting, and rapid response to alarms to maximize uptime and ensure regulatory compliance.
The technician will work with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams, perform preventive maintenance on burners, dampers, fans, and instrumentation, and help implement energy efficiency and emissions reduction
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–5 years of industrial maintenance or equipment operation experience.
- Experience with Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers or thermal oxidizers/boilers is preferred.
- Understanding of combustion systems, burners, motors, and instrumentation.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) system.
- Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
- Respond to alarms and adjust operations per procedures.
- Coordinate with maintenance and operations for outages and repairs.
- Maintain maintenance records and logs.
- Ensure compliance with MSHA, EPA, and safety procedures.
