Job summary

Wipro Limited is seeking an individual contributor engineer to own CPU architecture and system-level energy modeling. You will drive power analysis, optimization, and workload profiling to maximize energy efficiency for CPU designs.

You will collaborate with the SoC/CPU Power Team, perform data mining for RTL, and contribute to power projections and tests for battery life optimization.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of industry experience or equivalent research.
• Experience with low-power fundamentals and data analytics.
• Experience in flow automation (Python, C, C++, Gemini).
• Expertise in vendor tools such as PTPX, Ansys Power Artist, Synopsys Prime Power RTL.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive CPU architecture and system-level energy modeling activities.
• Develop power analysis techniques and optimization engines for battery life.
• Collaborate with SoC and CPU Power Team on power analysis and workload projections.
• Profile power for typical workloads and define tests for power optimization.
• Perform RTL and gate-level data mining for high-level power estimation.
