Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a CPU Power Engineer to lead power analysis and characterization efforts across CPU benchmarks and projects.

You will work closely with RTL, Synthesis and Physical Design teams to measure and optimize power, and you will tabulate metrics for cross-functional analysis while coordinating with post-silicon teams to correlate projections with silicon measurements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field with 2+ years hardware/software experience.
• Experience in power analysis and optimization.
• Proficiency in Tcl or Python and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform power analysis on CPUSS-related projects.
• Characterize power for CPU benchmarks using tools like PTPX and Joules.
• Collaborate with RTL, Synthesis and Physical Design to measure and optimize power.
• Tabulate metrics results for cross-functional analysis and reporting.
• Coordinate with post-silicon teams to correlate projections with silicon power measurements.
