Job summary

Sintegra Inc. in Mountain View seeks an individual contributor engineer to own CPU architecture and system-level energy modeling, competitive performance and power analysis, power optimization, simulation and rollups.

Develop novel power analysis techniques and tooling to improve battery life, collaborate with the SoC Power Team on power projections, and perform workload analysis for power testing across workloads.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in industry (hardware or related).
• Experience with low-power fundamentals (dynamic/leakage, power estimation) and data analytics.
• Experience in flow automation (Python, C, C++, Gemini).
• Expertise in vendor tools such as PTPX, Ansys Power Artist, Synopsys Prime Power.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive CPU architecture and system-level energy modeling, power analysis and optimization.
• Develop novel power analysis techniques and tooling to improve battery life and energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with the SoC and CPU Power Team on power projections and requirements.
• Perform workload analysis for battery life and tests for power analysis and optimization.
• Perform data mining analysis at RTL and gate-level to define micro-architectural transactions for high-level power estimation.
