Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is seeking a skilled FPGA Product Engineer to drive RTL design and silicon implementation across global teams. You will leverage Verilog/SystemVerilog, FPGA architectures, and AI-assisted automation to optimize PPA, cost, and schedules from conception to productization.

The role requires a strong problem solver with collaboration skills, spanning multiple time zones, and a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer/Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong RTL design experience and FPGA/ASIC development.
  • Experience with modern RTL design methodologies and EDA tools.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, and SW-FW engineers to understand product requirements and IP features.
  • Build early-stage RTL designs driven by product and architecture intent.
  • Develop AI-driven infrastructure to accelerate IP integration and timelines.
  • Apply data-driven methods to align engineering teams across next-gen products and technology nodes.
  • Support functional simulation and software quality checks with robust verification coverage.
  • Partner with global teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
